Terms of Service
In effect since
The agreement
Throughplan is provided by GRIIND s. r. o., Mierová 1099/66, 064 01 Stará Ľubovňa, Slovakia, company ID 53 821 173, VAT ID SK2121505331, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Prešov, section Sro, file no. 42298/P.
These Terms are an agreement between you and that company (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, connecting the desktop app or otherwise using Throughplan, you accept them. If you use Throughplan for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” then includes that organization.
You must be able to enter into a binding contract. The Data Processing Addendum and the Service Level Agreement form part of these Terms. The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and what we store on your device.
These Terms and the documents that form part of them are published in Slovak and in English with the same content. If the two versions differ, the Slovak version prevails.
The service
Throughplan turns a description of a software project into wireframes, a clickable prototype and technical specifications, and lets you share them with your team and your clients. It consists of the web app, the desktop app and the cloud service that stores your projects.
The AI engine runs in the desktop app on your computer and uses an AI tool you install and sign in to yourself (Claude Code from Anthropic or Codex from OpenAI). Your use of that tool is governed by your agreement with its provider, and any cost it charges is yours.
While capacity is limited, access is by invitation. We may change, add or remove features; where a change removes something you rely on, we tell you in advance whenever we reasonably can.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your email address current — we use it for sign-in and important notices.
- Each account is for one person. Keep your password and your devices secure, and review your active sessions in Settings → Account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at info@throughplan.com as soon as you suspect someone else has used it.
- Our servers report their own errors to us so we can keep the service working. Error reporting from your browser is optional; the Cookie Policy explains how to switch it on or off.
Workspaces, roles and sharing
Your projects live in a workspace. A personal workspace belongs to you alone; a team workspace can have members with these roles:
- Owner — everything, including deleting the workspace and switching it between personal and team.
- Admin — everything except those two actions.
- Editor — creates and edits projects, manages share links, invites clients, opens change requests and saves versions.
- Viewer — reads projects without changing them.
You can also give people outside the workspace access to a single project: a client account signs in and can read that project, and a share link lets anyone who has it open the project — read-only, or with the right to comment — optionally protected by a password and an expiry date.
Workspace owners and admins decide who has access and are responsible for it. Anyone with a share link can open what it points to until the link expires or is revoked, so share links only with people you intend to.
Plans and prices
Each workspace is on a plan (Free, Pro, Team or Enterprise). Plans differ in limits such as the number of projects, team seats, client accounts, share links and saved versions, and in features such as approving a specification or writing your own agents. The current plans are described on our pricing page.
Free costs nothing. Pro and Team are paid monthly in euro; the prices on our pricing page include VAT. Enterprise is priced by agreement.
If a workspace moves to a plan with lower limits, nothing is deleted: you cannot add more than the new plan allows, and features it does not include stop working until the plan allows them again.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments are taken by Stripe, our payment provider. When you buy a plan you pay for one month in advance by card, and the subscription renews for another month on the same day each month until you cancel it. We do not store your card details; Stripe does.
On Team, the base price covers the workspace owner. Every additional member is charged at the rate for the size your team has reached, and that rate applies to all additional members. A seat is added when someone accepts an invitation and removed when a member is removed; an invitation that has not been accepted costs nothing. When the number of members changes during a paid month, the difference for the rest of that month is added to, or deducted from, your next invoice.
An invoice for each payment is sent to the billing email of the workspace and is available in Settings → Organization → Plan & billing. If you give a valid EU VAT number, the invoice shows it.
If a payment fails, the plan stays active while the payment is retried over about two weeks and we ask you by email to update your card. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to Free.
You can cancel at any time in Plan & billing. The plan then stays active until the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed; payments already made for that month are not refunded, except where the law gives you that right, such as the consumer withdrawal described below. Deleting the workspace or your account ends the subscription immediately.
When a workspace has no paid plan that covers its members — because a subscription ended or was never bought — everyone keeps working as before for 30 days, and we tell the owner and every member the date by email and in the app. After that date the members, but not the owner, lose access to the workspace until the owner subscribes to a plan that covers them or removes members. Nothing is deleted.
We may change prices. A change never applies to a month you have already paid for; we tell you at least 30 days before it would apply to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you put into Throughplan and to what it produces for you. You give us the non-exclusive right to store, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service to you and to the people you share it with.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use it, including any personal data it contains. For personal data in your projects you are the controller and we process it for you under the Data Processing Addendum. Do not store special categories of personal data (such as health data) in a project unless you have a lawful basis and it is necessary.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Throughplan without any obligation to you.
AI-generated output
Wireframes, specifications, risk findings, architecture proposals and estimates produced by the engine or its agents are suggestions. They can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before you rely on them or hand them to anyone else.
An estimate is a planning aid, not a quote or a promise; the documents Throughplan drafts for your clients carry no generated price. You are responsible for what you deliver to your clients.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, or store unlawful content;
- try to access another workspace’s data, or get around access controls, rate limits or plan limits;
- probe, scan or test the service’s security, except in coordinated, good-faith disclosure to us;
- upload malware, overload the service, or scrape it by automated means beyond normal use of the apps;
- resell or sublicense the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- reverse engineer the software except where the law expressly allows it.
Our software
Throughplan, including the apps, the engine, the built-in agents and our brand, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these Terms for as long as your account exists.
Availability and support
We work to keep Throughplan available and describe maintenance and support in the Service Level Agreement. Keep your own exports of work you cannot afford to lose.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Throughplan at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account; a workspace owner can delete the workspace in Settings → Danger zone. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export what you need first. What deletion removes is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account or workspace that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms — for example by storing unlawful content, attacking the service or trying to reach other customers’ data — or to protect the service or other users. Unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and export your data.
We may stop offering Throughplan altogether with at least 30 days’ notice, during which you can export your data.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from this agreement within 14 days of the day you created your account, without giving a reason and at no cost. This applies on the Free plan too, because using the service involves your personal data. If you paid for a plan and withdraw within those 14 days, we end the subscription and refund what you paid in full, to the card you paid with, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. When you buy a plan you ask us to start the service immediately; withdrawing within 14 days still gives you the full refund.
To withdraw, use “Withdraw from the contract here” — linked at the bottom of the sign-in page and of our website, and in Settings → Legal & privacy; it works without signing in — or send us a clear statement before the 14 days end, by email to info@throughplan.com or by post to GRIIND s. r. o., Mierová 1099/66, 064 01 Stará Ľubovňa, Slovakia. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. We confirm your withdrawal by email without undue delay, with the date and time we received it. The agreement then ends: delete your account in Settings → Account, or ask us and we delete it for you. Deleting your account also ends the agreement, at any time.

Warranties and liability
We provide Throughplan with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights when the service does not conform to the contract are not affected.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage or loss arising from your use of Throughplan, including indirect or consequential loss, lost profits and lost data. Where our liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims in any twelve months is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and EUR 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, the limits above apply only as far as consumer protection law permits, and you keep all the rights it gives you.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
Disputes go to the courts of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you may instead bring a claim in the courts where you live, and we may bring a claim against you only there.
Before going to court, please write to us at info@throughplan.com; most problems can be solved that way.
Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution
Send complaints about the service to info@throughplan.com. We confirm that we received a complaint and deal with it without undue delay.
If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, or you believe we have breached your rights, you can send us a request for redress (žiadosť o nápravu) at the same address. If we reject it or do not reply within 30 days of when you sent it, you can submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution under Slovak Act No. 391/2015 Coll. to the Slovak Trade Inspection (https://www.soi.sk) or to another competent body on the list kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic: https://www.mhsr.sk/obchod/ochrana-spotrebitela/alternativne-riesenie-spotrebitelskych-sporov-1/zoznam-subjektov-alternativneho-riesenia-spotrebitelskych-sporov-1.
The authority that supervises us in consumer matters is the Slovak Trade Inspection, Inspectorate for the Prešov Region (Inšpektorát SOI pre Prešovský kraj), Obrancov mieru 6, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, or change the service, for a valid reason: a change in the law or a decision of an authority, security or the prevention of misuse, a change to the features we offer, or the start of paid billing. Changes cost you nothing extra.
We tell you about a material change by email and in the product at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can end the agreement free of charge by deleting your account before then; if you keep using Throughplan after the change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
If you are a consumer and a change to the service affects your use of it more than slightly, you can also end the agreement free of charge within 30 days of our notice or of the change, whichever is later.
